WhatsApp has successfully established Channels as a broadcasting tool for its people. It now wants to give Channel Admins and followers ways to evolve into true communities - and has developed a new 'Questions' feature to enable two-way dialogue on Channels.

hyprlocl’s task was to stress-test this new feature with Channel Admins to ensure that it bridges the gap in engagement - without compromising the simplicity and safety that Admins rely on.

As Whatsapp Channels evolves from broadcast to community, our investigation underlined the immense appetite for two-way interaction and bonding between Admins and followers. There is just one caveat - turning a megaphone into a microphone requires a robust safety net to keep the conversation healthy!
